Lina Torres, E.I. is an emerging structural engineer with hands-on experience in structural design, repairs, and modifications for a variety of high-end residential and commercial projects. Her portfolio includes work on luxury homes, restaurants, warehouses, and retail developments, as well as the structural design of new single-family residences. As part of her work, Lina conducted site inspections to assess existing conditions and ensure accurate and effective structural solutions. Lina has developed a solid working knowledge of the Florida Building Code, which she applies in the design and evaluation of both new construction and existing structures.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and an associates degree in Building Construction Technology from Miami-Dade College. Lina began her career in transportation engineering before discovering her true passion in structural work. She is a certified Engineering Intern (E.I.) and is currently pursuing her Professional Engineer (P.E.) license to further solidify her commitment to the field.

 Lina is proficient in a wide range of engineering and design software including Enercalc, Visual Analysis, IDEA StatiCa, ETABS, SAFE, and Mathcad, along with drafting skills in AutoCAD. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she brings strong technical capability and effective communication to every project she undertakes.
