Michelle S. Garcia, E.I., holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida. With a dedicated and detail-oriented approach, she has cultivated a career as a Structural Engineer, armed with a foundation in structural engineering principles and a keen eye for detail. Michelle’s expertise encompasses design and analysis, forensic investigation, and construction administration and inspections.
In her role as an Engineer Intern (E.I.) certified in the state of Florida, Michelle has had the privilege of contributing to the dynamic team at Cueto Engineering, LLC in Coral Gables, Florida. Here, she collaborates closely with Professional Engineers (P.E.s), leveraging her skills to assist in project management, design, analysis, and inspections.
Michelle is an active member of both the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI). Michelle’s leadership experience as a former board member of the ASCE Miami-Dade Branch and executive board member of the ASCE FIU Chapter has enriched her ability to contribute to the growth and development of aspiring engineers.
Michelle brings a comprehensive skill set to every project, proficient in a range of software including AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE and MATHCAD. Her fluency in both English and Spanish facilitates seamless communication with diverse professional environments.
