David Belsky, P.E.

David Belsky, P.E. is a highly accomplished electrical engineer with extensive professional experience and a strong educational background in electrical engineering and business administration. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and later pursued a Master of Business Administration at George Washington University.

Professionally, Mr. Belsky has a rich history of leadership and innovation in the field of electrical engineering. He is currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Cueto Engineering, LLC, where his responsibilities include conducting 40-year recertifications for various buildings, performing infrared thermography inspections, and ensuring the compliance and design of electrical systems per applicable standards.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Belsky was the Principal and Owner of UCI Engineering from 1986 to 2017, a MEP design consulting firm he founded, which successfully generated approximately $4 million in annual revenue. Under his leadership, the firm handled significant projects such as the design of commercial high rises and hotels, and secured a major contract with Hensel Phelps for providing LEED fundamental commissioning for a Department of Defense facility.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Florida Power and Light Company, where he contributed to the development of standards and specifications for distribution equipment and was part of a team that earned the Deming Prize for exceptional quality control. His tenure at Potomac Electric Power Co. further solidified his expertise in managing transformer test and repair facilities and developing standards for distribution transformers.

Mr. Belsky holds several professional certifications, including a Florida Professional Engineer license and an Electrical Contractor license. He is also a certified Level II Infrared Thermographer. His skill set encompasses project engineering, project management, construction management, and a specialized knowledge in electrical engineering, LEED accreditation, and building commissioning.
